 Dimachung-Betali


 Dimachung-Betali is an area in West Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh in India. The Dimachung-Betali ruins are located on the hills of Rowta Forest range under Balemu circle.

Some bricks and store remnants are found over the site. Few spots of the settlement area are encircled with the low retaining walls. A muller stone, containers with impression of the Mahayani Buddhist mantra, ‘Om Mane Pema Hum’, rock inscription are found in the area.

 Bhismaknagar Fort 


The Bhismaknagar Fort is a major sightseeing point in Arunachal Pradesh. The fort was built in the 8th century BC. It is the oldest of all the archaeological sites constructed in the area. This fort in the Dibang Valley district is regarded sacred by the Idu Mishims. It symbolizes the glory of the past. Built with clay bricks and adorned with pottery, the fort was constructed in the 4th century.

The Bhismaknagar Fort was built with burnt bricks during the 12th century.
This hill fort is considered as one of the oldest archaeological sites of Arunachal Pradesh
and is situated at a distance of around 29 km from Roing. The excavation project for this site
 was started in 1969 and was completed around 1973.

Reflecting the rich culture of this place, it displays various artefacts like potteries,
terracotta figurines, terracotta plaques and decorative tiles that were found during the excavation process. Its structure covers an area of around 1860.52 sq m, and houses three halls, six entrances and two extension rooms.

Tezu


Tezu is a census town and the headquarters of Lohit district in the Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh.
It is the fourth largest town in Arunachal Pradesh and one of its most developed.The ancient inhabitant of this land of valley and rivers are the Mishmi tribes.The Mishmi tribes have traditions
and customs dating back to the times of Mahabharata.The major Mishmi God is Ringyajabmalu and the major Mishmi festival is known as Tamladu puja.

It is celebrated each year on 15 February.People from all communities and all walks of life are invited to join in the celebrations.The Holy Parshuram Kund is also nearby and thousands of Hindu pilgrims from all over India, and also from neighbouring countries, come to take a holy dip and wash away the sins of millions of births. This is accompanied with a fair at Tezu and takes place every year during the month of January.The major agricultural products are mustard, ginger and oranges.
